Loop by Loop Voice LLC uses AI voice agents to phone your Shopify customers. Its main job is calling shoppers minutes after they abandon checkout, referring to their name and cart, answering questions and offering a discount code you have approved. The same platform runs post-purchase upsell, win-back and review-request calls, and can answer inbound support calls. It is a different product from a different developer than Loop Returns, which we review separately.
Key features
- Calls triggered by store events such as abandoned checkout, order placed or order fulfilled, plus scheduled campaigns to Shopify or Klaviyo segments.
- A flow builder combining waits, calls, SMS and branches. Flows stop when the customer orders, opts out or ends a call negatively, and the agent can only offer the Shopify discount codes you allow.
- An agent builder with objectives, guardrails and objection handling, plus a simulator that tests the agent against personas such as an angry or AI-suspicious customer before any real call is made.
- Conversations in English, Spanish and 30 more languages, including Arabic, using ElevenLabs, Vapi and xAI voices; the app interface is listed in English only.
- Phone numbers bought through Loop in 90+ countries, imported from Twilio or connected via SIP trunk. The Super Number, included on Scale, rotates local US area codes.
- Call recordings, transcripts, QA summaries and revenue attributed to Shopify order numbers. Shopify lists integrations with Gorgias, Klaviyo, Omnisend, Redo, Twilio and Zendesk.
Pricing and trial information
The Shopify listing offers Free with 10 credits, a one-month rollover and auto top-ups. Starter costs $119/month ($1,142/year) with 120 credits. Growth costs $399/month ($3,820/year) with 500 credits and premium voices. Scale costs $975/month ($9,360/year) with 1,500 credits, custom voice training, the Super Number and a dedicated account manager. The listing does not offer a free trial. Prices are USD, checked on November 3, 2026.
Credits are the real unit of cost. The developer's pricing page says an answered conversation uses about 1.5 credits, unanswered calls use none, and answered calls that do not convert still count. That works out at about 80 conversations a month on Starter and six or seven on Free, although the Shopify listing describes Starter as 3–6 conversations a day. Conversations beyond the allowance are billed at a per-credit rate the page does not publish. The developer's website also lists Enterprise at $3,790/month and a 4× ROI guarantee that, by the developer's own estimate, only about 17% of brands qualify for.
Rating and reviews
On November 3, 2026, the app had 5.0 from 10 Shopify reviews, all five-star. Merchant feedback praises natural-sounding calls, clear recovery reporting and responsive support. Warrior Willpower, a high-ticket store with seven months of use, reports recovering orders it would otherwise have lost. The useful caveats sit inside positive reviews: Ozysleep NL waited more than a week for a phone number, Yūkiwear needed time to configure Twilio and the system prompt, and Velia Skin notes that it does not convert every abandoned cart. Four reviews were posted after less than ten days of use, so the rating is encouraging rather than proof of long-term results.
Pitfalls
According to the developer, onboarding in the US creates the agent and phone number within a couple of minutes, and numbers are active within seconds. The developer's installation guide requires a verified business phone number, and the script, discount rules and calling windows still need testing. Use the simulator and a test call to your own number before the agent reaches customers.
The developer's billing article, updated on October 28, 2026, states that there is no per-minute rate and no success fee: you pay for the plan with its included credits, plus any conversations beyond them at the plan's extra-credit rate. That rate is still not published, so ask for it and check how auto top-ups are controlled before you scale up.
The compliance material is written mainly for US merchants, covering TCPA, Do-Not-Call lists and a checkout consent checkbox whose wording the developer advises having counsel approve. The developer's GDPR article states that Loop is GDPR compliant and that a DPA is available on request. It also says some subprocessors that handle calls run only in the US, including Vapi for voice orchestration, OpenAI for conversation reasoning and Deepgram for transcription. The developer also says results are strongest with US customers, an average order value above $50 and more than 100 abandoned carts a month. If you sell in Europe, confirm the consent basis for calls in each market, sign the DPA and make sure your privacy policy covers processing call data in the US.
Shopify lists access to customer names, emails, phone numbers, IP addresses and geolocation, plus permission to edit customers, orders and discounts. The developer says recordings are kept for seven days by default, extendable to 90, and store data is deleted within 30 days of uninstalling. Attributed revenue links an order to a call within a time window; it does not show whether the customer would have bought anyway, so a holdout group gives a cleaner read. This review is based on published sources, without our own hands-on installation.
Conclusion
Loop is worth shortlisting if you sell mainly to US customers, your order values make each recovered cart meaningful, and email or SMS recovery is already in place. The developer positions voice as an extra layer on top of those channels, so set up Shopify's abandoned checkout emails first. The free credits are enough to hear the agent, not to judge ROI; Starter is the realistic test. Ask for the extra-credit rate, sign the DPA if you sell in the EU, then compare recovered revenue with the plan cost after the first month.
