ReSell — Post Purchase Upsell, built by DevIT.Software, is a Shopify app for reconverting customers right after checkout with upsell and cross-sell offers. It's pitched as a fair-priced alternative to the bigger post-purchase tools, so I set it up on a test store to see how it holds up.
Setting it up
I could create offers two ways: let the AI build post-checkout offers automatically, or set them up manually with my own rules. Offers appear on the thank-you page — and on the checkout page for Shopify Plus stores — and accept in one click, with no re-entry of payment details. The built-in analytics for each upsell and cross-sell funnel were the part I appreciated most, since they make it easy to see what's actually converting.
Key features
- AI or manual offers: Generate post-checkout offers automatically or build them by hand.
- Upsell and cross-sell: Recommend higher-value or complementary products.
- Thank-you and checkout placements: Thank-you-page offers for everyone; in-checkout offers on Shopify Plus.
- Funnel analytics: Track the performance of each offer and optimize.
- One-click acceptance: Customers add offers without re-entering payment info.
Pricing
ReSell is free to install, with paid plans starting at $14.99/month across four tiers. The free-to-install entry makes it easy to trial before committing to a paid plan.
Rating and reviews
It has a strong 4.7-star rating, with the large majority of reviews at five stars. Merchants consistently mention the value for money, the ease of use, and responsive support — which fit my experience getting offers live.
What could be better
Getting the most out of it means moving to a paid plan, and in-checkout offers are limited to Shopify Plus. As with any post-purchase app, offers only show for orders paid with supported payment methods.
My verdict
ReSell is a capable, fairly priced post-purchase tool, and the AI offers plus funnel analytics make it more than a basic upsell widget. If you want thank-you-page upsells with room to grow — and you're fine moving to a paid plan for full features — it's a strong, well-reviewed choice.
