Selected Shopify stores can take advantage of unique offer – Shopify Plus risk-free trial for 2 months for $399 (the price of Shopify Advanced). It's not clear how exactly the stores are selected, but one of the rules is having at least a few orders per month.
The Shopify Plus trial gives you some extra features from Plus including:
- B2B/wholesale features
- Custom reports
- Unlimited staff accounts
- Up to 50 Markets for free
- Customizable checkout
- 24/7 phone support
Only the transaction fees will be the same as for the Shopify Advanced plan (i.e., 2.5% + 30¢ per transaction when using Shopify Payments gateway).
How to get Shopify Plus trial
To see if you are eligible for the offer follow these steps:
- Login to your Shopify store admin
- Check the dashboard banners and see if the one saying "Start a 2-month trial of Plus for $399 USD/month" is there
- Alternatively, go to Settings > Plan > Change plan and see if the Shopify Plus trial offer is there
If you don't see it anywhere, you are unfortunately not eligible. At least for now.
