The migration preserved existing SEO-friendly product URLs and used an adapted version of Shopify Checkout, so the switch stayed invisible to shoppers.

Westwing also runs Salsify for product information management and Algolia for on-site search, on top of Shopify Plus's API-driven backend that now powers one central store replicated across all twelve of its European markets.
