We recently hosted the official Shopify CEE Meetup at the Digismoothie office in Prague. It was a good excuse to bring together people building in the Czech Shopify ecosystem and the wider CEE region. The afternoon was deliberately more conversation than conference.
The Shopify team led the partner presentation, with Marina Vavilova and Carlotta Zorzi-Chapman sharing product updates and what Shopify is working on next. These conversations matter because the platform moves quickly, and local partners are usually the first to see where a global release meets the practical needs of merchants in our region.
The rest of the afternoon was informal: catching up with fellow partners, swapping notes on the stores and integrations we are working on, and getting a clearer sense of how the Shopify community in Czechia and CEE is growing. There is a real benefit to having these discussions in person, outside a project call or a Slack thread.
Thank you to Marina, Carlotta, and everyone who joined us. We were happy to open our office for the meetup, and we are looking forward to the next opportunity to bring the community together.
