You can now A/B test your Candy Rack offers with Intelligems

A/B testing has been the most requested Candy Rack feature, and it’s finally here through our integration with Intelligems. With this update, Shopify merchants can run price tests with consistent pricing across the entire journey and experiment with upsell and cross-sell offers inside Candy Rack.

A/B testing is by far the most requested feature of the Candy Rack. And honestly, it's no surprise. Executing the perfect upsell strategy is about testing and constant optimization.

That's why I am super excited to announce our latest partnership (and integration) with the Intelligems platform.

Consistent prices during the price tests

The first level of integration is the price testing. When you are running a price test on your store, the prices are now consistent throughout the customer journey, including Candy Rack offers.

Previously, customers may have seen a different price on the product page and Candy Rack pop-up, for example.

A/B testing offers

The second level of integration allows merchants to run A/B tests of Candy Rack offers. The typical tests are things like:

  • Different discount levels on the upsells/cross-sells
  • Different products in the offers
  • Upsell offers turned on vs. turned off, so you can see the real incremental value
  • Offering a free gift product vs. not offering it so that you can see the real impact on the conversion

And so on, there are no limits!

Conclusion: Make A/B testing part of your upsell strategy

We have been testing the integration for a while and can confirm that the upsell testing is a complete game-changer. We plan to share more of our upsell/cross-sell tips – all backed with solid data from the A/B tests.
