Intelligems is a leading tool for A/B testing and the go-to solution for many DTC brands including True Classic or Ridge brands. Its main advantage is the ability to run complex tests – you can test product prices (that stay consistent all the way until the purchase), A/B test different versions of your homepage or product page, or even discounts and shipping prices. Thanks to integration with Candy Rack, you can also test different upsell offers.
Another advantage is the COGS support. You can easily sync the product COGS from your Shopify store (or upload via CSV file) to measure the true profit per visitor for each tested variant. The test results are clearly visualized and you can customize your winning metric.
Intelligems is not just an A/B testing tool, recently they added support for checkout elements and released their own analytics called Sitewide Analytics. Both are included in all plans, but you need to have a Shopify Plus plan to add elements to your checkout.
The integration requires enabling the Intelligems script in your store and tagging your price elements, which may require a theme edits.
Pricing model and plans
Intelligems pricing is based on the number of orders per month. The entry plan called Core is $79 per month and allows you to test content, redirects and themes. To test discounts, prices and checkout you need to be on the Plus plan which $499 per month. And if you are looking for even more complex tests like subscriptions or price + shipping together with the account management, you need to be on the highest Intelligems Blue plan which is $999 per month.
Recently, Intelligems also introduced a new plan called Core Redirect Only which costs $49 per month and allows you to test via page redirects.
Overall, the tool pricing is very premium, but the value you can generate via A/B testing and CRO is massive. There are other alternatives on the Shopify App Store, but Intelligems is definitely a leader and rightfully our #1 recommendation if you are serious about testing and CRO.
