This Shopify app lets you customize the site search. You can easily add, edit, arrange or delete searching fields, with the major fields being date of production, manufacturer, and particular model (YMM). For numeric options, you can specify ranges not to have rows created for every year your products were created. The customer will see a smart drop-down that leads them to the product they are interested in.
Year Make Model Advance Search gives you the possibility to add, edit, delete, or group product entries within a few steps. You can import CSV files with your product data to the app or assign YMM manually (you can do so with multiple products in one click).
The app also introduces a universal product feature. If you want certain products to be shown regardless of the customer’s query, you can add them to the list of universal products.
This Shopify app has a 14-day free trial and three pricing plans. The basic plan costs $10 per month and grants unlimited YMM fields, bulk product assigning, the universal products feature, and 1,000,000 rows. The pro plan costs $50 per month and includes all basic features, fitment match, and fitment compatibility chart. The premium plan costs $75 per month and proposes all features mentioned above and 1,500,000 rows.
