Upsell is a sales technique in which a seller encourages a customer to purchase a more expensive or upgraded version of the product they are currently interested in, or to add on additional items or services to their purchase. This is done by highlighting the benefits or advantages of the more expensive option, and convincing the customer that it is worth the extra cost. Upselling is a common strategy used in e-commerce and marketing to increase the average order value and maximize sales revenue.
